Trainer questions, answered

Are the Ukarimu curricula updated regularly? +

That is the aim, yes. The industry changes all the time, so we keep updating the materials to stay relevant.

How do I become an Ukarimu trainer? +

Download the facilitation guide from this website and reach out to us. From time to time we run Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions; while all materials are free to download, the ToT helps ensure you implement the curriculum successfully. Fill in the contact form to be notified of upcoming sessions.

What facilities are needed to run Ukarimu trainings? +

Each module lists what it needs. Core requirements include a suitable venue, a projector, screen and laptop, flipcharts and stationery, and any practical materials relevant to the training — for example cutlery or cleaning supplies.

What is the Ukarimu Academy app? +

A free tool that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or accessed online. It works offline, reinforcing the training content and giving learners access even when they cannot attend a session in person.
